Most of my income are from internet. Some are from my online store, while the rest are from Google Adsense. The later contribute the most. My friends used to ask me how do i made from adsense . I always told them the same answer “You need to have a resourceful website”. This is the fundamental of making money through your blog / website. But you would never heard it from those Gurus, who claimed themselves as expert in making money online.
I attended a talk last time, an Internet Guru gave a talk on how to make money online through Google Adsense. My friend paid for the talk and asked me to accompany him. He knows i have been in Internet Marketing for more than 3 yrs. So he wanted to know how good and through he is . He showed his Adsense income , to proof that how much he made from internet. Everyone was so excited on it. Then, he told us his secret.
First, create a website. Then, sign up an account with Adsense and start showing the ads on your website and make money from every clicks.
That’s sound easy isn’t it? Once again, he showed his Adsense. Everyone is getting mad now, and my friend can’t wait to register his domain name and setup his website.
So i asked him “What website you intend to create” “hmm…. i’m not sure…” . “OK, let’s say you have your website, how does people know your website” I asked another question. He then quiet and looking at me. “You don’t even know what website to develop and how to build up the traffic. And you are confident that you can start making money soon from it?” After listen to what i said, my friend frustrated and demotivated.
Then i told my friend, “the real secret, is to have a resourceful website. Visitor won’t keep coming back to your site if they found your website is nothing special or useful. Think about what information you have, that will be helpful to others. Share it on your website or blog, and slowly, you will have more visitors. More visitors not equal to more money from Adsense. But if no visitor, you earn nothing from Adsense”
So, do you found the secret?
Nowadays, when we talk about making money online, we certainly cannot run away from online business. Such as selling products or services online. Then, it arise another question. “I don’t have any goods to sell, so how can i do online business?”. Most of the answer you get from forum, will be diverted you to ClickBank.
Founded in 1988, ClickBank has been helping no. of people to promote their digital products world wide. It allowed the vendor to publish their digital products (mostly e-book) in their market place. The advertiser will have the option to choose what products they would like to promote in their website. Such program is called Affiliate, where the advertiser will earn from any sales that made referred from their website. For a certain products, the advertiser can earn up to 75% of the selling price.
I have tried this program few years back. Unfortunately, it didn’t make me rich but just making USD100 for almost 1 and a half years. They are no. of people claiming themselves making 5 digits income monthly through Clickbank. However, those are just another marketing techniques to promote their digital products.
